Unconditional Love

When I was a kid (teenager), my big sister gave me two cassettes when shes back to visit (back then we used cassettes) from her university, 1. Tina Turner - Break Every Rule and 2. Cyndi Lauper-True Colors. they were my favorite albums to listen to at that time. And after that, when Cyndi Lauper released her next album A Night To Remember, i guess this is the best album in the 80's for me. It was released in 1989 and i was 14. 

So, 20 years later, im back listening to this album and its as refreshing as the first time. I love several tracks in this album. The haunting I Drove All Night, the torturous blues of My First Night Without you and self-emancipation of Heading West. I have to highlight that Diane Warren wrote a song on this album called I Don't Want To Be Your Friend is as tragic as it sounds. I guess this album was released in a dark period of Cyndi's life. But my most favorite is Unconditional Love, which is tender and i so can relate to , for its shows the love of my mother towards me, and generally mothers to their child. for I have so many mistakes while growing up but the love never stops from my mother (Mak) ....no matter what.

when it's time to move on

How do you do it? For me, i always listen to a song. But a pray to god will help a lot more. Somethings we just need to forget or let go something bad or good or something you just do not know how to handle. still it depends on how I want and think it would help me. Always believe its greener on the other side.

you read them once, you can read them again

my big sister, oceangirl highlighted this poem to me,  she and her husband recited it to some people on an annual dinner and everybody loved it cause they can so relate to it. i guess everybody can. the poem is simple, and yet strong on sending a message to us. for me, it questioned me where is my waiting place, will it be the right one and who will wait for me and who/what am i waiting for? and also, how do i get there?

inspiration

starting off, with a thank you to my sis, babypose who inspires me to begin this. so id like to share a poem that my cousin read to her during her wedding this year, and the best thing is it mentions her name.
